The Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Preparation Program in Social Science (5-12) is a great way for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree-preferably in one of the social science disciplines-to become certified middle school or high school social science teachers.
This challenging program provides you with the essential skills and knowledge you need in effective teaching practices and foundations of teaching to become an effective social science teacher. As part of this program, you will also complete a supervised student teaching component designed to give you invaluable in-classroom experience.
