Graceland University's online Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner program builds upon the foundation of the basic bachelor's degree in nursing program.This online degree prepares nurses to perform in the role caring for families and facilitation adaptation in a variety of settings. This area of study incorporates a blend of theory and research along with an emphasis on guided practice in clinical areas.
The practicum may be completed in the student's own community (anywhere in the US). During the practicum, the student's hands-on experience is monitored by a local preceptor as well as a member of Graceland's nursing faculty.
All applicants must have an accredited BSN Program. Current RN licensure in the US. Minimum GPA of 3.0 from BSN program or a GRE score of 1000 or higher on combined verbal and quantitative sections. Completion of undergraduate level courses in Health Assessment and Statistics.
