With the online Master of Science in Terrorism and Counterterrorism Studies from Henley-Putnam University students will gain an in-depth knowledge of professionalism, proactive strategies, and terrorist strategies and dynamics.
Completely online, this program provides its students with the advanced knowledge of dealing with terrorism in order to protect life and property. Upon graduation from this program students will be able to plan and conduct counterterrorism operations in a team leadership or management role, show an advanced understanding of current terrorist threats including cybernetic attacks and threats involving weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and develop and conduct advanced intelligence collection programs as well as identify and distinguish between different types of terrorism according to the ideology of the terrorists, and perform sophisticated terrorist threat assessments.
All of the applicants to this program must have a Bachelors Degree or completed equivalent credits with a GPA of 2.4 or above from a regional or national accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education. A background check and screening process is required.
