Description

Liberty University's Master of Religious Education (MRE) program is the professional theological degree in Christian education and discipleship ministries, and is well-suited for individuals seeking a broad, foundational graduate degree in church ministry. This program is designed to equip men and women called by God to serve as professional Christian workers in such capacities as associate pastor, discipleship pastor, and small group pastor, as well as other positions that require a general knowledge of church educational programs and discipleship ministries.

Transfer Credits
Students having graduated with the MAR degree may transfer all 30 hours, as applicable, into the MRE program. The student will be allowed to receive the MRE degree upon completion of all of the course requirements for both degrees. Students having graduated with the MRE degree may transfer all 60 hours, as applicable, into the MDiv program.

The online Master of Religious Education from Liberty University is a 60 credit hour program offered in three convenient formats: Online, Resident (on campus), or Blended (which combines online learning with campus residency options). Tuition is $250 per credit hour, there is a $150 technology fee per semester, and a $50 application fee.

Liberty University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees.
