The program recognizes and addresses the developmental process of teaching and learning in a diverse society. Due to current regional policies, the Teacher Education specializations are not available to residents in Canada and the U.S. states Delaware, Indiana, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and Arkansas.

All applicants must have a regionally or nationally accredited U.S. bachelor's degree; a cumulative graduate GPA of 2.5 or higher; 3 years of post high school, full time work experience.
