The University of Phoenix's online Master of Arts in Education - Administration and Supervision degree program has been created for those educators who are looking to develop their expertise and knowledge of the various aspects related to school administration.
This program has been designed by experts in the field to guide individuals through the process of developing an in-depth understanding of administrative aspects, such as:
- Education finance
- school law
- The roles and responsibilities of the principal
- Community relations
- Supervision of personnel
Individuals who are in this online Administration and Supervision program will also be required to participate in a school administration internship at the principal level.
Each student/applicant is responsible for checking with his or her state Department of Education and/or school district to determine specific credentialing requirements.
All applicants must have a regionally or nationally accredited U.S. bachelor's degree; cumulative graduate GPA of 2.5 or higher; 3 years of post high school, full time work experience, minimum of 18 months of instructional experience in a P-12 setting.
