Description

Eastern Kentucky University is now offering a Graduate Leadership Program in Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies. This is the only program in the United States that focuses entirely on the issues of juvenile and adult offenders and society's response to these groups.

EKU has a long tradition of preparing professionals for leadership careers in corrections and juvenile justice. Their certificate and degree programs emphasize building knowledge about offenders, and the application of that knowledge to correctional interventions, evidence-based practices, leadership, ethical conduct, and policy analysis.

Juvenile justice or Correctional practitioners can use this Certificate to get a "jump start" on their careers, and also all of the classes from the Certificate Program can be applied towards the Master of Science degree in Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies. Credits to Complete: 12; 8 weeks; 6 starts per year. Applicants of this program must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
