Bryant & Stratton College's online Bachelor of Science in Financial Services degree was created by experts in the field of finance to guide students as they prepare for various employment opportunities in the field financial industry, such as accounting, financial planning or financial service management.
Developed to meet the standards in the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and the Academy of Financial Services standards, this financial services program’s curriculum will enable its students with the knowledge needed for:
- Analyze and apply contemporary knowledge and skills in the financial services sector
- Demonstrate strategic and tactical financial planning abilities
- Analyze and evaluate client cases to prepare solutions
- Use legal and ethical principles to analyze and apply practices to preserve wealth amongst other valuable skills.
Develop with input from major banks, brokerage firms, accounting firms, credit counseling organizations and insurance agencies, this online financial services degree program will instill in its students an understanding of estate planning, investments, insurance, tax, retirement planning, and employee benefits planning.
Emphasis is placed on personal financial planning and students are eligible to sit for the CFP Certification Exam. This degree is not available to New York or Ohio residents.
