Description

Rasmussen College's Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology has been created and designed to teach students the skills needed for working with medical coding.

Students in the this program are taught the skills and knowledge of medical front office procedure, including handling patient accounts and records, word processing, and scheduling of patients.

This online Associate in Health Information Technician insures that graduates will have the skills and means necessary for being an active member of a health team. Students will be trained in a variety of basic management and supervisory roles regarding health information services including: gathering, analysis, distribution, and maintenance of health care and patient-related data.
