Abilene Christian University
Description
Abilene Christian University's Master of Education in Leadership of Learning is a faith-based, 39-hour online degree program designed to empower you as an educational leader who promotes instruction in safe and productive learning environments
The Master of Education in Leadership of Learning's unique emphasis on conflict resolution enables students with the relevant skills that are critical for handling conflict and incorporating peacemaking into your daily routine.
This program will prepare you for leadership roles such as principals, department chairs, and supervisors as well as a number of other leadership roles in public and private K-12 schools. All of the online Leadership of Learning classes are designed around the Interstate School Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards, which make children, and their learning, the foundation for school administration.
By incorporating these standards, the program prepares you to obtain licensure in the 36 states that have adopted the standards, including Texas.
Also, this program utilizes Apple's Video iPod technology as an educational tool that allows students to download and access study materials at their convenience. This program also requires its applicants to have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, and 2 years of K-12 teaching experience.
