Life experience credits can be a delicate subject with online and traditional universities. Many academic institutions and employers frown on degrees that include credits from life experience, so you must do research on how your industry feels about this.

With that said, I want to point you to a great article that discusses life experience credits in a little more detail: The Life Experience Credit: An Explanation.
