Charter Oak State College was established in 1973 by the Connecticut Legislature to provide an alternative way for adults to earn associate and bachelor's degrees, and are focused offering students the options of completing their degrees in a more convenient, flexible and affordable setting than a traditional college.
The online and video courses at Charter Oak are offered in 5, 8, and 15-week formats, and have been developed and taught by faculty who are experts in their fields.
