Where Traditional and Online Education Merge
Since 1973, Amridge University has been a pioneer and leader in distance learning, and was one of the first 15 colleges and universities to be chosen by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in a pilot demonstration program in distance learning in 1999. This program was to be the basis for various types of new laws regarding distance education to by passed by the United States Congress.
