Where Traditional and Online Education Merge
Since 1973, Amridge University has been a pioneer and leader in distance learning, and was one of the first 15 colleges and universities to be chosen by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in a pilot demonstration program in distance learning in 1999. This program was to be the basis for various types of new laws regarding distance education to by passed by the United States Congress.
As an independent, coeducational institution, Amridge University prides itself on being dedicated to the spirit of its Christian ideals and heritage. It is the mission of Amridge University to prepare its students through academic excellence and spiritual vitality at the undergraduate and graduate levels, for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and service to the professions, society, church, and family.
