Grand Canyon University Online - Pass on this one. . .

I completed six (8 week long each) graduate classes here via the online Angel program they use. The classes themselves were hit or miss. You can expect to have an 8-12 page paper each week or a project that would take about the same amount of time to prepare. Many of the papers are similar to other classes you will take and you feel like you are writing the same thing over again! I liked 3 of the 6 classes I took and feel like they made me a better teacher. Three were not helpful and felt like busy work the entire time... Read Full Review

Grand Canyon University Online - Online Education Review

I am a current online student, working towards my Bachelors degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. Before beginning my online degree program at Grand Canyon University I spent quite a bit of time researching online classes to determine what type of environment it would be. I found that full online degree programs were available in a multitude of majors and that courses were offered by highly rated accredited schools. Even the Ivy League schools like Harvard have offerings for online classes these days... Read Full Review

Grand Canyon University Online - Decent school

I am somewhat fond of this school, but I also don’t believe it is all it’s cracked up to be. I am military and needed an online school to finish my BS. I chose GCU after hearing wonderful reviews (from mostly in-residence). I think when their online program first started out it was much smaller, more controlled and tougher. I believe now it has gotten too large, and their desire to make money has overridden their desire to teach to their greatest ability. I am thankful for this school; it is, without a doubt, better than some other schools I might have chosen, but it is less than expected... Read Full Review

Grand Canyon University Online - Great School

Grand Canyon was the best choice I could have made! I was able to apply newly acquired knowledge after each class. I have been able to network with people in my profession all over the country. I was awarded a military scholarship that cut the tuition cost in half. There were no problems worth bringing up any issues I had were taken care of. I plan to go into their masters program and then doctoral. I recommend Grand Canyon to all my friends and family. Read Full Review

Grand Canyon University Online - DO NOT ATTEND

DO NOT attend Grand Canyon University GCU. This school hides behind the cross. They absolutely do not know what they are doing from the enrollment counselor to the financial aid advisor. I still have yet to talk with the Academic counselor and it is week 2. This is by far the worst online school. If you want to go to an online school go to Troy University. Read Full Review

Grand Canyon University Online - GCU

The on-line experience provided an exceptional avenue to learn a large amount of information in the most comprehensive and efficient way. I found myself becoming excited about utilizing all I learned within my classroom. I actually miss working on my masters since graduating. Read Full Review

Grand Canyon University Online - How dissapointing....

I was only able to take 3 courses, then when I was preparing for a prospective job and I needed a transcript, I found that I had not signed my prommissary note. I would not have known this as no one had bothered to tell me. I lost 2 terms waiting for email responses from a so-called advisor, mr. Zucker, and financial aid. I finally was told the bank didn't even have me on file and I had to go to the bank website, then was told it would still be a few weeks. I had asked for an apology, something....but nothing from CHRISTIANS. I did like the teachers, the students irritated me and I don't need Old Testament for Psychology/Criminal Justice...
