I attended Devry back when online schools were still very new. I was unable to finish due to personal issues.. not the school. After talking with others who attend online schools and reading some of the reviews it seems DeVry offers something the others do not. An actual classroom setting. I loved that I was able (and expected) to interact with the teacher as well as the rest of my class. We were scheduled for our classes the same as you are at an on campus school. At first I was very skeptical about attending Devry and then I decided to give it a try and liked it! I've been attending Devry since 2009 and now I'm in my last semester of school for my Associated in Applied Science of Networking Administration. My professors are all very knowledgeable about the material and are even currently working in their profession as we speak; I've even had two professors that lived about 25 minutes from my house lol. The only issue I have with this school is the cost, because when I first started it was only 475 a credit now it's 575 a credit which is huge, but this is what's happening at all colleges... My experience at Devry University was so I thought a good one, until I tried to register for the summer session of 2009 and found out I had a balance of $4,900 that I was unaware of. First of all no one contacted me about the balance until it was out of control. When I went to the financial aid office I was told that I shouldn't have been able to register for the spring term...., which I did and already took the classes! So when the summer term came I was like why is this balance so huge, financial aid told me that I was taking more classes than what my tuition could cover, which I didn't know I was doing that... I went to DeVry for a year at half time and it cost me 16K! AT HALF TIME!!! The only way I was able to figure that out was that I received assistance from my new school (Westwood College) on how to locate what loans I had out there. I put several calls into DeVrys FA department and never received a call back! I hated the stupid ebooks too! Westwood College is a way better school! Read Full Review

Was unsure about whether the online finance degree I was seeking was going to be the same quality as an campus school. I choose DeVry for several reasons mainly having to do with size of school, experience, cost, and it had the program in finance I was seeking. I had a wonderful and definitely challenging educational experience with DeVry. The instructors were very educated and helpful and I liked interacting and working on projects with fellow students.
