"So far so good!"

I'm still in the post-bacc teacher program, but so far my experience has been wonderful. I did have a hard time getting enrolled, and my enrollment counselor was less-than-brilliant. But, after I finally got things worked out, the program exceeds my expectations. I don't think the "busy work" is pointless. It makes up for not being in an actual classroom, and the material is very helpful in demonstrating competency. I have a wonderful mentor who has guided me through the entire program and answered all my questions. There are even instructors available online in all different subjects to answer questions. I've had several "meetings" with my math teacher online and truthfully, I have learned more at WGU than at my undergrad school, which was brick-and-mortar. This school is wonderful because you set your own pace, and in most cases, you can work faster than the deadlines. Like I said, the enrollment process was a pain, but once the ball got rolling it has been quite an enjoyable experience.
