Go"So Far So Good!"
WOW!! After reading through quite a few of the other reviews I have to say that the people who wrote negative reviews must not be driven to succeed on their own. If you're someone who is willing to work hard and take the time necessary to teach yourself more than you could learn in a classroom, the WGU is probably a good fit for you. I'm currently in my 3rd full term in accounting. I've finished more than 60 credits so far, and I was able to transfer in another 21 from my previous college experience at a state university. Altogether I have over 3 years of coursework completed...and if you can add...it was all done in under 3 terms. The mentors at WGU make it their goal to assist you in any way possible. I speak with my mentor once every 2 weeks and we have a definite plan as to where my education is going. I take the classes at my own pace, but can take longer than I initially set up if I need the time to better understand the material. WGU is also one of the most accredited universities in the U.S. The acquired accredidation from 4 regional agencies, the Distance education accrediting agency, and the Teaching ccredidation agency...I can't remember the exact names of them right now, but you can look it up if you want to know the truth. Anyway, my experience with WGU has been great so far, and I can't wait to see how my degree enhances my life when I finish it.
