Go"Good Experience For Me"
My experience was favorable @ WGU. I had just left a great job, and was able to accelerate my degree and return to work with a better salary. I'll be the first to say it is not a model that works for everyone. The student must be disciplined and motivated because the process depends upon you completing lessons without any peer pressure that might be experienced at a campus. Your mentor will call you, encourage you, and give you a mutually agreed upon path, but you must do the work. A lot of people complain about taskstream...well, I can say that I didn't always agree. I took their feedback and resubmitted the assignments and moved on. Getting hung up on a grade for an individual assignment, or complaining about the amount of time it takes to grade one (usually about 3-4 days...) is an example of not seeing the forest through the trees. I'm glad I attended, and had more than a dozen interviews with senior managers in large companies...not a single person gave any indication that WGU was a problem. Of course I didn't get offers at each of those opportunities, but I'm certain that was me, not the school. Consider your options, understand different approaches to learning, and if WGU is a fit for your style of learning, it will be enjoyable (like it was for me).
