"Get That Degree"

I would highly recommend WGU to anyone who has a goal of obtaining their degree but who does not wish to go morbidly into debt to do so. I am a current student at WGU and transferred nearly 100% of my Associate Degree credits from my local 2 year community college to my current Bachelor's program at WGU. My employer reimburses employees 100% up to $5000 per year for college, so my out of pocket expense is coming to just under $1000 a year. WGU is accredited and is recognized by my employer as an acceptable venue of higher learning. If I compare my curriculum at WGU with what I had at my local community college, I can honestly say WGU is much more challenging and difficult. For those who think this is easy course work and that WGU is nothing more than a diploma mill, you could not be further from the truth. The textbooks used are college textbooks that you would find in traditional brick and mortar schools, and even though this is totally online, WGU offers so much instructor and mentor assistance that I have never felt as though I was on my own to learn, even in the more difficult classes.
