I moved through an education degree in less than three years. I loved doing one class at a time and moving at my own pace. This is a perfect school for an independent learner who likes the freedom of doing education when it is convenient to them. My mentor was not always on top of his game but I was always able to advocate for my needs through Student Services and get what I needed. The student teaching experience was a little hard to get set up but I was willing to put forth the effort. Sometimes it was hard to get a test set up at a test site but once again, determination is the only guarantee solution for reaching your goals. Overall, I am pleased with my degree. I stuck with it and finally graduated. I am seriously considering going back to WGU this fall and work on a Master Degree.
