I am finishing my PhD proposal and will be defending it shortly. Being a Walden student is not easy. You do have to earn your grades. Sometimes it is harder than a brick and mortar school because you don't sit and participate in classes; here, you do have to prove what you have learned by writing papers and discussion posts. I have learned tremendously. My professors at Walden are even easier to reach that those at a conventional univeristy. We have wonderful resources that help us advance in our doctoral studies: the research center, the writing center and the library. I am proud to be a Walden student.
