Comments and Experiences


I started at Walden in September 2005 in the Ph.D. program of Public Policy and Adminsitration.
It has been one of the worst experiences of my life and I am 55 YOA.
Interaction with faculty and staff is minimal at best. You can never talk to a real person just get voice mail and "we will get back to you" which they very seldom do. The turnover of staff and administration is high as well as the drop out rate.
Walden constantly raises tuition and provides incrementaly poorer services.
Complaining to them has NO impact, and most of the student I speak to have the same complaints.
Walden is a FOR PROFIT company who puts quality of education on the back burner.
I would suggest Capella University or University of Phoenix if you take the distant learning road.
