I JUST GOT MY PHD AT WALDEN Walden University

    I just completed my PhD program at Walden University. I am very satisfied. However, be aware that this is not a school for people who want an easy ride. You have to work for your degree, which is just fine as far as I am concerned. PhDs or any other college degree are not for everyone. If you can just buy one or get it without serious work, it is worthless. Walden has high academic standards that maintain the value of the degree. My classes required 15-20 hours a week and my dissertation is a 170 page document that required original research. All Walden dissertations are required to have social change implications.

    Walden is a university for serious students. If you are only interested in playing student or an easy ride, find another school.

    As far as the administration and other support services, I never had a problem. There are many avenues of communication including live chats, email and telephone. I found Walden's staff to be very supportive. Like everything else in life, you have to make the effort.

    Walden is a great school, however you do have to invest in the program to get your degree.
