    Walden is a great University as long as you realize it is what you put in it. I finished my PhD in 3 1/2 years (6 months longer than expected) and got exactly what I wanted out of the program. I already have 2 Master's degree's and work as a full-time counselor. For me personally, I wanted the PhD for publishing and more private practice and university teaching. I would not go for credentials or MBA stuff. But if it the degree specifically you want, it is great!
    However, you need to realize that there are a lot of hoops to jump through in the dissertation process and the chair makes or breaks your completion! Take the time to choose your chair carefullly! I had to fire mine because she never responded or helped. My new chair helped me finish in 6 months from where I was at! It ended up great!
