I am one semester away from finishing. The coursework is difficult, challenging, relevant, and kept up to date. This is a program only for people who are interested in obtaining a degree similar to that obtained in a brick and mortar school. The workload of this online program is NOT less than a traditional school, so if you can't or won't be able to dedicate that - do not enter this program. The expectations of the professors and administrators are similar to that in a traditional program and the quality of work of students who are able to successfully complete the program is also at that level. If you are considering this because you think it would be easier, faster, less time consuming, or cheaper than a regular program, this isn't for you. If however you are interested in a high quality, challenging, but valuable learning experience with a school that will really prepare you to write and work at a professional PhD level, but are just restricted with the time or location from being able to meet in a traditional classroom setting - then I think you will be as happy with this program as I am.
