As a graduate of Walden's Masters program I was very satisfied with the program. It was a rigorous program and the instruction from faculty was very commendable. Because of my satisfaction with the Masters program I enrolled in the Ed.D program. The courses and instruction were satisfactory until you get to the dissertation. Once you get to this point you are pretty much on your own and you do have to be careful for the amount of time that is allowed by the faculty to return paper submissions. The school allows 14 days for reviews and 4 to 6 weeks for IRB approval which is way to long and can easily consume an entire semester.
