Overall, I would have to say that spite the bad reviews I have seen for the University of Phoenix online, I had a great experience. Students are given the option of purchasing the actual textbooks, and there are also bookstores depending on your location. If there is anyway a student can go to a local bookstore, I highly recommend doing so, because mostly I ended up having to look elsewhere online for research due to lack of information found in the online course material. The only other problem I ran into , is problems with other students forgetting that we are in college, and forgot to state their opinion. Other than that, my Academic Advisors and Financial Aid Advisors were the greatest. They always worked with me to make sure I kept going, even when I was discouraged, they encouraged me to keep going and not give up!
