The University of Phoenix provides an excellent and sustainable education. I spent my first year of college at a traditional University, and am currently working towards a Masters degree at a traditional University, and I can honestly say, UoP is hands down better. Objectively speaking though, you will only get out of it what you put into it. I truly enjoyed learning with other working professionals; these collaborations proved to be extrememly beneficial. I couldn't imagine going through core business classes with a 20 year old kid; not sure what they could truly offer other than a fresh perspective. I met and worked with very inspirational instructors. In fact, the instructors at UoP pushed me to work harder and dig much deeper than my professors do at my current University, at a Masters level no less. Yes, there are those who have found a way to skim by at UoP, and it appeared to almost be allowed, but my time at traditional Universities showed just the same. The only thing that truly gripes me about UoP is the cost; it's way too expensive. They need to find a way to make the cost more affordable. Thumbs up to UoP!
