This school publishes a course catalog showing when courses will be offered online, and then frequently does not offer those classes online. This makes it very difficult to finish. Things are fine for the first few classes, when you have lots of classes to take. However, when you are nearly finished and down to just a few classes, it becomes very difficult. For example, I have 3 courses remaining and have been trying to finish for 2 quarters. In the current quarter (winter), they offered none of these classes but advertised they would be offered in the spring. Now it turns out UCI will only offer 1 of the classes this spring. Summer quarter, I have no confidence they will offer any course I can take. I have no idea at all when I will finish. There appears to be frequent scheduling issues. If you are hoping to complete a degree or certificate within any reasonable timeframe, I cannot recommend this program. If you are just looking to take the occasional ad-hoc class with no goals to finish, this program is probably OK.
