Go"Not worth the cost"
Admissions process consisted of submitting transcripts and completed application. Very little counseling or help with identifying and attaining goals. My goal was to become a CPA. This diploma does not provide sufficient amount of credits for meeting educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in Florida. Had to figure that out myself. Online university is convenient and the instructors are pretty good. Quality of education is about equal to what is available at a state or community college. However, the cost is high for what you get. Undergrad classes were about $1200 each. Many state universities offer online programs that cost much less. Florida Atlantic undergrad tuition was $348 per course in 2007. Administrative staff is largely incompetent. Dozens of emails and phone calls had to be made just to get a copy of my diploma sent to me. No alumni support, except a stupid magazine "Scholar", full of articles about how great Strayer is. Now I have a diplama (even made the Dean's list) and student loan balance of over $8,000 to pay off - no prospects of a job in the accounting field. Current position involves software development.
