I attend Kaplan College for the massage therapy degree program and it is not what I thought it was going to be. The classes for the therapy program are poorly put together. No one should be able to take a class in acupressure or trigger point before the complete anatomy but, I did and so did many others. Yes, many teachers know what they are talking about but, there are some they do not. One class I attended three times out of a ten week term and received an A. This teacher did not care if you were there or not. Instructors are told to contact the student when absent...haha... many do not and if you try to contact them to get an update about the lesson you missed; that is a joke to. It is all about the numbers with Kaplan as well as any other FOR-profit organization. I saw a chart the keep on the wall showing the quotas to reach, what had been reach, and projections for the following months.
