Comments and Experiences


I have an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University and I am currently working on obtaining my B.S. in Legal Studies from Kaplan. Kaplan University does an excellent job of providing students with a quality education. All of the professors in my law-related classes have been experienced attorneys and I have learned a lot from them. Kaplan has also provided me an opportunity to network with other individuals in the legal field, allowing me to expand my list of contacts in the legal field. Overall, Kaplan University has helped me to greatly improve my understanding of the principles of law and of the judicial system.

Unfortunately, Kaplan University is an expensive school and the financial aid department needs to do a better job of honoring the payment plans that it sets up with students. The financial aid department also needs to quit pressuring students to take out stafford loans, especially after a student makes it clear that he/she does not want a stafford loan. However, I am usually able to clear up any mistakes made by the financial aid department with a quick phone call to them. Overall, Kaplan University is still a great school!
