"Excellent Program"

I completed Gonzaga's MAORGL in May, 2012. Since graduating, I have begun an Ed.D in Leadership at Creighton University, which I am a little over halfway through. My experience at Creighton has given me some comparison by which to grade Gonzaga. Gonzaga's Blackboard system is extremely easy to navigate and very intuitive. The workload at Gonzaga isn't extreme, but is very well designed so that I gained a lot of knowledge from the courses. I had to take two Incompletes during a semester, and they were very fair and helpful in making sure I could complete the work. Foley Library's online portal is the best research site I have found to date. As an alum, I have continued access to the library, and use it extensively in my work at Creighton. The professors and staff at Gonzaga genuinely want their students to maximize their experience and take what they learn into the world. My only criticism of Gonzaga is that grading and feedback of discussions and papers was often slow, without enough depth in many cases. Creighton's professors are far more responsive and willing to provide critical feedback that helps get the student where he needs to be to write and defend his dissertation.
