I grew up in Bellevue, and the learning center at the University is dedicated to my uncle. I always wanted to go to school there, and did go in person back in 1981. I dropped out to pursue a career in rock and roll, and while it was fun, I always knew I would someday go back to school. I live in Austin, TX now and my dreams of rock and roll stardom are in the distant past.

Now that I am all grown up with 4 grandchildren, I decided that now is the time to go back to school. I was so excited to discover Bellevue has distance learning! So far, it's been great. Very challenging, but yet possible. I'm in my third semester seeking a B.A. in Criminal Justice. (I'm a Private Investigator)

It's been harder than I expected, but then I've been out of school a long time. I would give Bellevue 5 stars. Everyone has been so helpful, from the financial aid people to my wonderful adviser, Bryan Shearer.

I can't wait to go home for graduation!
