Go"Assessment of Bellevue University degree programs"
I am a retired U.S. Air Force Reserve Law Enforcement Specialist and an 18 year U.S. Federal Law Enforcement agent. For more than 20 years, I have attended numerous universities and completed a variety of law enforcement academies and courses. I attended Bellevue University and completed both a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master of Science in Security Management. The course instructors possess detailed knowledge of the subject matter and had relevant field experience. The cohorts were very interactive and cohesive and the assignments were educational and challenging. Unfortunately, some students are soured after receipt of their diploma because it does not outline the educational discipline. These students are unaware that the absence of the educational discipline on a diploma is not an anomaly. Many colleges/universities do not list the educational discipline on their diplomas. Overall, I relished and enjoyed my Bellevue University experience and strongly advise anyone interested in receiving a viable educational experience to attend. Weaknesses: Limited alumni clothing; no on-line Associate degree programs; on-line students cannot attain educational honors (Magna Cum Laude) beyond the Dean's List Strengths: Responsive and educated instructor cadre; relevant degree programs; both traditional and on-line learning options; challenging subject matter and assignments.
