Go"Everything you want to get out of it!"
I graduate in July 2011, and couldn't be happier with my experience. It's seems that most complaints are based on people not being happy with advisors. We are all adults, and shouldn't need someone holding our hands through our educational process. That being said I can't complain my advisors have been perfect! Adam Bennett is my academic advisor, and if I have a question he always calls me that day! Jaye Wheeler is my financial advisor, and she has also always called back if I have a problem, and taken the time to explain any issue I have. As far as people saying they have passed classes with A's without even opening their books, well that's your own fault, and good for you. Some classes do come easier to some than others, but not reading the text puts you at a disadvantage. I always read the entire text as soon as I receive them to be prepared for class. Yes I could have passed a few of my classes without the book, but again we are all adults, and acquired knowledge from our lives, may just allow us to do this. It's what you want to get out of it in the end. Do you want to just go through the motions, or do you want to actually learn more? That is what will have the ultimate affect on how you take your courses.
