Oregon State University - Former Student

It is a very liberal school. The music classes I took were great but there were a few communication problems with what the teachers expected. I had a full ride scholarship but I still ended up paying an additional 1,800 dollars, not including books. Read Full Review

Kaplan University - Post Student Review

The education was very good, very professional with online professors that were clearly outstanding in their field. However, I have since enrolled in another online school for the graduate program. I have been trying to obtain my transcripts from Kaplan for nearly THREE MONTHS. I have spoken to the registrar's office, the business office and advisor upon advisor - with no solution. My current University is now threatening to drop me because I cannot get my transcripts from Kaplan. If you choose Kaplan, be assured the education will be good, but your dealings with the business side of the school will be a horrendous nightmare. Read Full Review

Walden University - Excellent and Challenging

I have just passed the 1/2 way point to completing my MS in psychology, and I am very happy with my experience. I have been in my program now for 1.5 years - and am taking my program one class at at a time versus the recommended 2. Post University - Post University Master of Education Program is Great

I'm completing my Master of Education in teaching & Learning at Post University, and so far the experience has been great. The Future of Education course I took was the single best formal learning experience of my life! I had never felt so excited about learning before. With the exception of one, all my other courses have been very engaging, and I feel like I've learned a lot. The professors are very interactive, and I enjoy learning with other working adults from all over the country. It's a lot of work, but it's work that I look forward to since I have the chance to really dig into areas that interest me... Read Full Review

University of Phoenix Online - I have been attending for over two years

I have been attending UOP on an off since 2007...I changed my degree program from MAED (Masters in elementary ed) to BSIT software engineering. Honest to goodness, I have had very good interactions and support from most of my advisors until I switched to the BSIT program and got a different financial advisor. This current financial advisor of mine, failed to contact me an inform me early about the fact that I will have over 3,000 dollars of out of pocket costs. However, my previous advisor was great, called me just about every week. It does depend from person to person. However, I have resolved my issues with this current advisor... Read Full Review
