Description
California University of Pennsylvania's Master of Science in Sport Management - Intercollegiate Athletic Administration degree was designed in response to requests from high school coaches and athletic directors who plan on pursuing a career in intercollegiate athletics, and to meet the needs of current junior college and university coaches and administrators who seek to maximize their leadership and management effectiveness in current or future positions.
The classes have been specialized to provide practical learning experiences for those wishing to pursue a career in athletic administration. The program's courses have been designed in consultation with the NCAA to provide the fundamental skills necessary to function effectively in an intercollegiate athletic department.
Applicants to this program must have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited institution, 3.0+ GPA, official sealed transcripts from previous under- and post-graduate education. Students with a < 3.0 GPA may be admitted on a conditional basis upon passing the written departmental exam.
