Eastern Kentucky University recognizes the need for educated and experienced professionals in occupational safety continues, and has developed the Master of Science in Safety, Security & Emergency Management - Occupational Safety degree program.
The Occupational Safety Concentration is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a high-level safety position. The Master of Science in Safety, Security & Emergency Management - Occupational Safety degree program educates students on the personal and environmental risks within the workplace on how to assess, analyze and develop safety, emergency management, security and environmental compliance programs; and how to investigate, manage, and prevent hazards/threats in the workplace. It will also prepare graduates for employment in a variety of executive-level safety positions. Our graduates have been hired as managers and directors by major organizations such as Ford Motor Company, Coca-Cola, General Electric, and the Marriott Corporation.
All applicants much currently hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
