
Description
Lewis University's online Master of Science in Nursing - Nurse Education degree program was designed to enable students with the skills that are required of today's nursing educators with the Catholic and Lasallian values.
The curriculum of this online nursing education degree program was designed to introduce students to topics, such as:
- Instructional methodology
- Program evaluation
- Educational research
Students who have an in-depth understanding of these topics will have the skills that are currently valuable and highly marketable, and will be prepared for faculty roles in any nursing education program.
Courses in the online program include:
- Curriculum Development and Evaluation
- Teaching Methodology and Delivery Systems
- Educational Theory and the Scholarship of Teaching
All applicants must have a RN licensure and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing that is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
