Description

The Master of Science in Nursing - Nurse Educator program prepares its graduates to teach in a collegiate or health care setting.

This CCNE accredited program uses the newest in eCollege software. Courses in this program incluede: Advanced Health Assessment, Issues in Nursing Education, and Technology for Educators.

The MSN - Nurse Educator programs expands students' focus of nursing with curriculum designed to allow working RN's to pursue graduate study at home with minimal interruption of work and family responsibilities.

Students will complete the requirements for graduation through a combination of online courses, directed independent study courses, and preceptor-guided practicums in the student's own community (anywhere in the US).

All applicants must have graduated from an accredited BSN Program. Current RN licensure in the US. Minimum GPA of 3.0 from BSN program or a GRE score of 1000 or higher on combined verbal and quantitative sections. Completion of undergraduate level courses in Health Assessment and Statistics.
