
Description
The online Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling degree program from UMassOnline has been created to aid those interested in developing the necessary skills needed to become a professional practitioner in areas such as:
- Hospitals
- SchoolsRehabilitation agencies
- Career planning centers
- Employee assistance programs
- Clinics
- Residential treatment facilities
- Other mental health agencies
This program unitizes the method of cohorts in order to help individuals steadily work their way through this two-year program. Students in this program are required to participate in clinical courses at the Boston Campus that are taught during the first July and August of the individual's program. Following the two months of clinical courses, students will be able to finish the program with a remaining online.
All applicant must have a bachelor's degree to be admitted to this degree program.
