Champlain College's 42-credit Master of Science in Law (MSL) - Health Law for Non-Lawyers online program educates professionals who want to think and act confidently in the legal dimensions of their work. Champlain's experiential approach ensures relevant and practical learning to those who seek to become leaders and skillful appraisers of the law.

Current Health Laws cover multiple legal issues such as:

  • Patients' rights to control their own treatment
  • Ways in which state and federal law regulate healthcare providers
  • Contemporary problems and advances in health care policy as they affect health care advocates and providers, along with hospitals and residential care facilities

The MSL will improve your legal research and writing skills, develop your analysis and critical thinking abilities and help you understand the law as it applies to your work. Delivered by experienced faculty of attorneys, the MSL is all-inclusive in scope and focuses on these areas: Managerial Law, Human Resources Law, Health Law, and Intellectual Property Law.
