The University of Liverpool's online Master of Science in Global Consumer Marketing degree has been specifically designed to be a flexible online program for any individuals who is looking to gain the in-depth knowledge that is needed for working with consumer marketing at the global-level.

This online program has been designed to provide its students with a comprehensive and high-level education that is focused on marketing, specifically marketing within the context of consumer markets (as opposed to business-to-business markets).

The main focus of this online global consumer marketing degree program is to facilitate the process of assisting students in their career development by:

  • Providing students with knowledge of the principles and current issues relevant to the role of marketing in business organizations (with specific reference to consumer markets/service sector)
  • Supporting the development of subject specific and key transferable skills necessary for employment in a marketing/management function
  • Providing opportunities for students to acquire a range of analytical techniques required for the effective tactical and strategic management of the marketing function within organizations
  • Enabling students to develop their IT skills and familiarity with a range of relevant financial and statistical software
  • Supporting the enhancement of skills of written and verbal communication.

This 12-month programme consists of seven taught compulsory modules and one elective module, followed by a research project carried out over the summer period upon completion of semester two.
