The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program prepares students for leadership-level responsibility and management success in the public sector. With two specializations, the online MPA offers the flexibility to customize the degree program to suit individual career goals, skills, and experiences.
The Administrative specialization emphasizes business decision making skills such as budgeting, marketing and the management of employee relations. The Organizational Leadership specialization focuses on skills necessary to develop and implement a vision for public service organizations, as well as techniques for leading and motivating individuals and teams in organizations.
Business practices long associated with the private sector are increasingly important in the public sector: efficient administration, ethical leadership, and data-driven decision-making processes.
