Description
With Fort Hays State University's online Master of Liberal Studies in Information Assurance degree, students will work with a number of experts in developing the knowledge that is needed for work with assuring information in any type of organization.
The online information assurance courses in this program offer students a flexible method for studying a variety of information security related topics, such as Network Security, Security Management, information practices, network security software/hardware applications and operating systems.
This program has been designed by FHSU's expert faculty member to offer students two option of focus: Network Security and Security Management.
With the Network Security option, students will prepare for the advanced task of protecting today's complex networks, and will work to develop a broad knowledge and experts skills that are needed for designing and implementing networks.
The Security Management option offers its students an online option for developing the knowledge and skills that are needed to plan, administer and manage Information Assurance within an organization.
While no specific technical background is needed for this program, it is typical that students have some sort of a technical background.
All applicants must have a have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.
