
Description
The Master of Education in Quality Schools is a program that emphasizes Dr. William Glasser's concepts and practices of quality schools at Graceland University.
This is an online program, and is the only one of its kind in the United States. Dr. Glasser is a world-renowned psychiatrist/educator/author who has written many books including: Schools Without Failure, Choice Theory, The Quality School, and Every Student Can Succeed.
Believing that choice theory is the cornerstone of a quality education, Dr. Glasser focuses on the key to effective education being strong student-teacher relationship built on trust and respect, and he believes that this idea will lead to reduced discipline problems, increased parental support, and improved test scores are results that are achieved consistently.
All applicants must have a bachelor's degree in education from an accredited institution or a teaching endorsement; Must have a teaching certificate in the U.S. and be currently employed as a teacher.
