Description

The Master of Education in National Board Teacher Certification Preparation degree program from California University of Pennsylvania has been created to align with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standard's (NBPTS) Five Core Propositions, which includes the certification standards that are employed in preparing teachers for National Board Teacher Certification.

This program provides the substance for meaningful learning experiences that require teachers to demonstrate what they know and can do while developing knowledge and skills that emphasize:

The Master of Education in Early Childhood Education is open to students with a Bachelor's, Master's or doctorate degree with elementary, early childhood, or special education teaching certification. Previous teaching experience is not required, but teaching certification is required for admission.
