The online Master of Education in Instructional Design from UMassOnline offers individuals an ideal Master's Degree program, which was created for those individuals interested in creating dynamic learning processes and curriculum as well as gaining the skills and understanding needed to succeed in adult instruction.

This online Masters in Instructional Design will prepare individuals for creating curriculum in a variety of settings, including:

This program focuses on 3 specific principles and practices that are found the area of adult education:

  • Building a foundation/conceptual framework for the instructional design process
  • Developing instructional strategies and skills to facilitate adult learning
  • Using educational media and technology to enhance the learning process.

This program requires that all application have a bachelor’s degree, and that all students attend 4 core courses at their Boston campus.
