Description

Abilene Christian University's Master of Education in Higher Education with an Emphasis in College Student Affairs and Conflict Management is a faith-based, 36-hour online program designed to prepare students for professional careers in a broad range of higher education settings.

This program is designed for the recent college graduate or the working student development professional that resides in a higher education setting and needs advanced training.

During this program you will be prepared for roles such as residence life director, academic advisor, international student coordinator, financial aid counselor, intramural director, career services advisor and many others.

Each of the program courses are designed around the Interstate School Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards, which make children and their learning the foundation for school administration. By incorporating these standards, the program prepares you to obtain licensure in the 36 states that have adopted the standards, including Texas.

Also, this program does require its applicants have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, and 2 years of K-12 teaching experience.

This degree will also provide a solid foundation for future doctoral work in higher education.
